Maximum penalty of 500 million VND as administrative violations in land
From January 1, 2010, individuals and organizations for administrative violations in land will be fined up to 500 million.
That is one of the contents of the Government Decree 105/2009 issued on November 11, with effect from the date of January 1, 2010, specific regulations on administrative violations in the areas of land., form, the sanction; authority and procedures for sanction and implementation of sanctioning decisions.

The sanction is based on the level of consequences of acts of administrative violation, as determined by guidelines prescribed value of land use rights for land area violated the money as the land price at the time of sanctioning the People's Committees of provinces and cities directly under the Central Government where the land is defined and divided into four levels.
Specifically, for acts of improper land use penalty goal from a warning to a fine of 300 million; hinders the use of the land of others were fined from 200,000 VND to 50 million; not return land on time by decision of land acquisition state agencies competent to be fined from 500,000 VND to 10 million.
In particular, acts of encroachment, of land; ruined land; receiving transfer of land use rights but not eligible for transfer of land use rights in accordance with the law of the land may be subject to the highest level is 500 million. (current regulations a maximum of 30 million).
In addition, the Decree also defined the sanctioning of administrative violations in land services such as practice advice on land prices, which does not comply with the principles and methods of determining land prices in accordance with the law law or State agencies are not competent to act for or practice advice on planning, land use plan that does not register the practice. Behavior will be fined from 1-20 million.
