Signing BOT Contract to Upgrade Highway 51

On December 11, 2009, BOT contract for construction investment project for expanding Highway 51 the Km0 +900 ÷ Km73+600 between the Department of Roads  Vietnam and Development Corporation highway Bien Hoa – Vung Tau (BVEC) was signed.
Investment in construction projects to expand Highway 51, driven along Highway 51 line exists, the individual through the town of Long Thanh to the left under the existing line, designed for standard III delta road, speed level design Vtk = 80 km / h.

Cross section of the street through Bien Hoa City is 39.3 m wide, including: six lanes of motor vehicles, 2 lanes mixed strip and strip interface between safety, Summer Street.

The project has total investment 3313 billion, including capital contributed by investors accounting for 10%, commercial loans accounting for 90% of total investment.

The payback for the project through revenues toll-free at 1 – Long Thanh, Co May Bridge toll station after expiration of the BOT contract for Cloudy with a charge stations in My Xuan commune, district Tan Thanh, Ba Ria – Vung Tau.

Duration is a 24-year BOT contract, including construction period of 3 years from the date 02/8/2009.

Investment in construction projects to expand Highway 51 and Highway Project Bien Hoa – Vung Tau is delivered to the Government of investors including corporations investing in developing urban and industrial areas in Vietnam (IDICO ), Song Da Corporation and Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) implementation.

Development Corporation highway Bien Hoa-Vung Tau (BVEC) is negotiating with investors BOT project construction investment expanded Highway 51 and Highway Project Bien Hoa-Vung Tau in Decision No. 485/QD-BGTVT date 04/3/2009.

On 02/8/2009, the construction of the project to expand Highway 51 has started. Package XL51-03 from the Km11 +000 ÷ +475 was rushing Km16 deployment. Currently, surveying, design, drawing on the whole line was completed.

Expected that construction will proceed by BVEC for all remaining packages  on the 12/2009.
