VND / USD Exchange rate continues to increase rapidly

Early this week, the average rate that banks continue to rise strongly reaching 17,034 VND/USD.

After exceeding USD 17,000 milestone on October 10, 2009, the average transaction exchange rate on the foreign exchange market inter-bank by the State Bank announced continued rapid increase. Especially, since last weekend to now, this rate has increased nearly 10 VND/USD.

This morning, the interbank rate has increase to 17,034 USD; exchange rates of commercial banks to continue listing the purchase price to the price level, with at USD 17,886; price on U.S. free market is hit at 19,830 VND/USD.

Interbank market, as reported by the State Bank, sales of foreign exchange last week also increased strongly, up to 2026 million, an average 405 million per day, up 97 million compared to weeks before.

Expected in today Vietnam State Bank will have some control and information-oriented monetary policy, which is related to exchange rates.
